i have got a XPS M1730 which i’m havin problems with, its fine whern im just using the battery but when i plug it in to the mains the screen goes black but can still see the home page behind and still can use it !!!

Hi HD3400,
I have the same problem, i have to plug the pc before i turn it on, if not it happens the same as yours. Sometimes if you turn on the pc using the battery, wait aprox 10 minutes before plug it to the wall, sometimes it works. My dell works very bad with Vista… i hate it.
