This is my first laptop and for the price I paid for it($599.00) I’m very happy with it overall. A couple of minor problems though. The dvd/cd drive would not work right out of the box. Had to call toshiba support to get it fixed. They were very helpful and it only took a few minutes on the phone. They had me delete some filters in the registry and then the drive worked.The other thing I don’t like is the ac adapter gets very hot in a short period of time. Also, it comes loaded with a bunch of software you don’t need. However, in spite of all that I like the machine and probably will get one for my wife since she has been asking for a laptop.
