i have a laptop model presario c300 . i have windows xp sp2 in it. i just formatted it . i have installed all dirvers but wen i m trying to install sound drivers it says ‘cannot find modem for device’ n sometimes says ‘cannot find device for driver’ ..how do i install sound drivers to my laptop. internet is working everything else is working .. thers no virus because i have jus now formattd. sound device is of conexant universal. it has a smart audio software with it i have installed that . pls help.
I have a 7 year old HP Pavilion laptop. A few months ago, the screen started to go black, flicker, or the screen would freeze at times. Sometimes we could get it to work by physically adjusting the screen, or closing the laptop and opening it back up. Eventually, adjusting it stopped working and now it’s always wither black, flickering, or a frozen image. We hooked up our old CRT monitor to the laptop and everything works fine. Does it sound like an LCD problem, or maybe in the wiring somewhere? I don’t have enough experience with laptops to know what to do, aside from paying through the nose for someone to look at it. I know my computer’s ancient but buying a new laptop isn’t an option right now.
i got a laptop 6 months ago it’s HP Pavilion dv5-1213, but i got some problem with it and i wanted to restore it in factory setting. i went to recovery manager and run the recovery to factory setting it tooks it’s time and restarted and did some more installation and turned off automatically. after i start again it sometime says that (the computer turned off unexpectedly and installation cannot be processed due to unknown error please restart the installation again) and sometime it says (installation didn’t complete please reinstall the installation again). please help me i don’t have warranty aswell
